The Program
Gospellegends.org is the official website of Classic Gospel Southern Style, a weekly program hosted by Ellis Manley and Scott Cundiff that features southern gospel songs from years gone by and airs on several broadcast and Internet radio stations. The program highlights music by such legendary gospel groups as the Blackwood Brothers, the Statesmen, the Speer Family, and the Blue Ridge Quartet and is hosted by DJs Ellis Manley and Scott Cundiff, two men who love those old gospel songs. Classic Gospel Southern Style is a weekly two hour radio program that features the legends of gospel music. The programs are available for internet download and comes as six mp3 files. There is about 52 minutes of programming for each hour. Contact us for more information. WAAC, 92.9 - "Country Music Radio" - Valdosta, GA airs Classic Gospel Southern Style can be heard from 6:00 to 8:00 each Sunday morning (eastern time). WEEC - HD - Springfield, OH airs Classic Gospel Southern Style on it's HD2 channel which has a southern gospel format on Mondays at 3:00 PM (eastern time). One Christian Radio, 106.9 FM, New Plymouth, New Zealand airs CGSS on Sunday afternoons at 2:00. So far as we know, this is the only Southern Gospel radio being heard in New Zealand. KEWI, Radio 690, Benton, Arkansas airs CGSS on Friday mornings at 5:00 AM and again on Sunday mornings at 5:00 AM. KWXI Radio 670 AM and 98.9 FM in Glenwood, Arkansas airs CGSS on Saturday at 5:00 PM and again on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM. WFFF Radio 1360 AM in Columbia, Mississippi airs CGSS on Sunday mornings at 8:05. WKSR, Pulaski, TN - Country 98.3 FM and Rocky AM-1420 airs CGSS on Sunday mornings at 7:00. |
